In Circles (Reprise)

Life flows and unflows,
love comes and goes,
tree with leaves,
tree without leaves,
the sky brightens,
the sky darkens.

Everything turns, turns,
in circles.

Nothing is permanent,
yet my mind clings, clings and clings
to what it was.

O my love, when I met you
I thought I would not let her go.
But then you slowly faded,
leaving me alone again.

I fell into despair.
But then I heard your voice again,
deep in my soul.
“Look at the birds,
at the cats, at the plants,
at the mountains,
at the vastness of the sea,
at the beauty of Nature.
Speak to me through them.

For since the day we met,
real love was really meant to stay
wherever you are.”
